Chef Elliott Moss has always been inspired by the “Hot Doughnuts Now” signs at Krispy Kreme locations all over the Southeastern US; when he conceived of opening a barbecue restaurant at Seminar Brewing’s Florence, South Carolina location, he wanted to something equally eye-catching to let travelers know that this was a place to get some food - thus “Hot Barbecue” was born.
This sign features a 10 foot long aluminum cabinet, hand lettered in yellow by SPCLSIGNS and overlaid with hot pink neon in a double-stroke format, we built this sign here in Raleigh and had it delivered and installed in Florence by McCorkle Signs.
The Hot Barbecue sign sits atop the newly-built smokehouse at Seminar Brewing, home of Elliott's BBQ Lounge.

Once the sun sets, that hot pink glow illuminates the smokehouse porch and parking lot.
The smokehouse is framed by the Beer Garden on the left, and Seminar's large indoor bar on the right.
The view from US-52 in Florence, SC, just southest of exit 164 on I-95. You can't miss Seminar Brewing or Elliott's, especially once the sun goes down.
